The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, or UMass-Dartmouth, Corsairs compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Little East Conference in basketball and as members of the New England Football Conference in football. UMass-Dartmouth, formerly "Southeastern Massachusetts University" and formed by a merger of "New Bedford Institute" and "Bradford-Durfee Tech", is a public institution located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, just outside of New Bedford. Mass-Dartmouth appears to consider its athletic history to stem from New Bedford Tech, and therefore this site will do so as well. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
