The Brevard College Tornados compete as provisional members of NCAA Division II in football and basketball, and are provisional members of the South Atlantic Conference in both sports. Brevard is a private Methodist institution located in Brevard, North Carolina, about a half-hour south of Asheville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 500.
