The Refrigerator Bowl was a minor bowl game held in Evansville, Indiana, from 1948 through 1956. The name of the bowl game stemmed from Evansville's informal designation as "Refrigerator Capitol of the World"; at the time of the bowl game's inception, Seeger, Servel, and International Harvester all had refigerator assembly plants in the city.
