The Lyndon State College Hornets compete as members of the North Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Lyndon State is a public institution located in Lyndonville, Vermont, near the Canadian border about a half-hour northeast of Montpelier. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
