The Milligan College Buffaloes compete as members of the Appalachian Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Milligan is a private Church of Christ institution located in Elizabethton, Tennessee, about two hours east of Knoxville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
