The Metropolitan State College of Denver, often referred to as Metro State, Roadrunners compete as members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Metro State is a public institution located in the Auraria neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 21,000.
