The State University of New York, Brockport, or Brockport State, Golden Eagles compete in NCAA Division III as members of the State University of New York Athletic Conference in basketball, and as members of the Atlantic Central Football Conference (1998-2010) in football. The football team will move to the New Jersey Athletic Conference in 2008. Brockport State is a public institution located in the village of Brockport, New York, about 20 minutes west of Rochester. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
