The College of Saint Mary Flames compete as members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football or men's basketball. In 2015, the school will move to the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Saint Mary is a private women-only Catholic (Sisters of Mercy) institution located in Omaha, Nebraska. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
