The Carson-Newman College Eagles compete as members of the South Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Carson-Newman is a private Baptist institution located in Jefferson City, Tennessee, about a half-hour northeast of Knoxville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
