Shrine Bowl

The Shrine Bowl (not to be confused with the East-West Shrine Game, an all-star contest) was a bowl game held in 1948 and 1949. The 1948 game was held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is remembered now as the second of three bowl games in which Hardin-Simmons participated in the 1948 post-season. The 1949 game was held in Carbondale, Illinois.
