Morris Brown College no longer sponsors intercollegiate athletics, having lost its accreditation in the midst of an embezzling scandal in 2002. The Wolverines participated in NCAA Division I sports at that time, as an independent. It was also a longtime member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Morris Brown is a private Methodist institution located in the Vine Hill neighborhood of the capital city of Atlanta, Georgia. The school, which one had an enrollment of nearly 3,000, now has an undergraduate enrollment of under 100.
