The Dana College Vikings used to compete as members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in NAIA football and NAIA Division II basketball. The school closed due to financial troubles in July 2010. Dana was a private Lutheran institution located in Blair, Nebraska, about 45 minutes north of Omaha.
