• Columbus College in Sioux Falls, SD, originally in Chamberlain, SD; closed in 1927, a former member of the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference
• Columbus College in Columbus, GA; now known as Columbus State University, a member of the Peach Belt Conference in NCAA Division II
