Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, or CMS, is one of two current cases where multiple colleges have grouped together to form one unified athletics program (the other being Pomona-Pitzer). The CMS Stags (Athenas for the women's teams) compete as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball.. Combined undergraduate enrollment at the three institutions is about 3,000.
