The City College of New York, generally referred to as CCNY, Beavers compete as members of the City University of New York Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. CCNY is a public institution, part of the City University of New York, located overlooking the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, New York.
