The Cairn University Highlanders compete as members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Cairn, formerly Philadelphia Biblical University, is a private non-demoninational Christian institution located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes northeast of Philadelphia. The Highlanders nickname is also new; prior to the name change, the school's teams were known as the Crimson Eagles. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
