The Bishop College Fighting Tigers ceased operations in 1988 when the school closed due to financial problems and a loss of accreditation. At the time, the school was a member of the [[Template:ireg]], competing in NCAA Division III basketball. It had not fielded a football team since 1960. Bishop was a private Baptist institution located in Dallas, Texas. The campus is now used by Paul Quinn.
