The Barber-Scotia College Sabres currently compete in basketball in the USCAA. The program was competing in NAIA Division I Basketball when it was halted following the 2005 season when the school lost its accreditation; efforts to regain accreditation are underway, and the school restarted its athletic programs in 2010. Barber-Scotia, a historically black college, is a private Presbyterian institution located in Concord, North Carolina, about 20 minutes north of Worcester. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
