The Alaska Pacific University Pioneers discontinued their athletics programs in 1990. At the time, the school competed in NAIA basketball. It had never fielded a football team. Alaska Pacific is a private Methodist institution located in Anchorage, Alaska. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
