The Keiser University Seahawks compete as members of The Sun Conference in NAIA Division II Basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Keiser is a private non-sectarian institution located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, about 35 minutes north of Miami. Keiser's athletic programs are located at the school's West Palm Beach campus, acquired in 2015. That campus was the former location of Northwood University's Florida campus, and Keiser -- which previously had no athletic program -- inherited Northwood's program with the acquisition. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 17,000.
