The University of Rio Grande Redmen compete as members of the American Mideast Conference (1949-2012) in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Rio Grande is a private non-sectarian institution located in Rio Grande, Ohio, about two hours south of Columbus. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
