The Dallas Baptist University Patriots compete as members of the Heartland Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football, nor does it currently sponsor women's basketball. Dallas Baptist is a private Baptist institution located in southwest Dallas, Texas. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
