The University of South Carolina-Beaufort Sand Sharks are members of the The Sun Conference, but have never sponsored basketball or football. South Carolina-Beaufort is a public institution located on campuses in Beaufort and Bluffton, South Carolina, in the Hilton Head area about 75 minutes south of Charleston. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
