The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils ceased sponsoring football in 1946 and basketball sometime in the 1960s, although they do currently play men's hockey at the NCAA Division III level.
The campus is located at the intersection of W 10 Mile Road and the southbound frontage road for M-10 (John C Lodge Freeway), just south of M-10's interchange with I-696.
One Lawrence Tech alumnus has played in the NBA: Blaine Denning, who saw action in a single game with the Baltimore Bullets in 1953.
