The Washington Adventist College Shock compete as members of the NCAA Division II Independents in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Washington Adventist, formerly named "Columbia Union College" and nicknamed the Pioneers, is a private Seventh-Day Adventist institution located in the northern Washington DC suburb of Takoma Park, Maryland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000. The logo presented here is the former Columbia Union Pioneer logo, as we're unable to find the new Shock logo.
