The Point Park University Pioneers compete as members of the American Mideast Conference (1949-2012) in NAIA Division II basketball. In 2012-13, the university will move to the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The school does not sponsor football. Point Park is a private non-sectarian institution located in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
