The Houghton College Highlanders compete as members of the American Mideast Conference (1949-2012) in NAIA Division II basketball. Houghton is a private Wesleyan institution located in Houghton, New York, about 90 minutes southeast of Buffalo. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
