The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Eagles compete as members of the The Sun Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. In 2015, the school will move to NCAA Division II and join the Sunshine State Conference. The school no longer sponsors women's basketball, nor does it sponsor football. Embry-Riddle is a private non-sectarian institution located in Daytona Beach, Florida, about an hour north of Orlando. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
