The Southern Wesleyan University Warriors compete as members of the Southern States Athletic Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. Southern Wesleyan, formerly known as "Wesleyan Methodist College" and "Central Wesleyan University", is a private Wes;eyan institution located in the town of Central, South Carolina, about 40 minutes west of Greenville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
