The Hood College Blazers compete as members of the Capital Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Hood is a private Reformed Church institution located in Frederick, Maryland, about 40 minutes northwest of Washington, DC. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
