The Salisbury University Sea Gulls compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Empire 8 Conference for football, and the Capital Athletic Conference for basketball. Salisbury, formerly "Salisbury State", is a public institution located on the Delmarva Peninsula in Salisbury, Maryland, about two hours southeast of Baltimore. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
