The University of Northwestern Ohio Racers compete as members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Northwestern Ohio is a private non-sectarian institution located in Lima, Ohio, about an hour south of Toledo. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
