The Trine University Thunder compete as members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Trine, formerly Tri-State College, is a private non-sectarian institution located in Angola, Indiana, about 45 minutes north of Fort Wayne. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
