The Malone College Pioneers compete in NAIA Division II as members of the American Mideast Conference (1949-2012) in basketball, and in NAIA football as members of the Mid-States Football Association. The school is currently in exploratory status, moving to NCAA Division II. Malone is a private Quaker institution located in Canton, Ohio, about an hour southeast of Cleveland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
