The Catholic University of America Cardinals compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Landmark Conference in basketball, and as members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in football. Catholic is a private Catholic institution, the official "national" university operated by the church, located in the Brookland neighborhood of northeast Washington, DC. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
