The Midwestern State University Mustangs compete as members of the Lone Star Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Midwestern State, formerly "Hardin College", is a public institution located in Wichita Falls, Texas, about 90 minutes northwest of Fort Worth. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
