The Davenport University Panthers compete as members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. In 2016, the school will begin competing in NAIA Football as an independent, before joining the Mid-States Football Association in 2017. Davenport is a private non-sectarian institution located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
