The Saint Mary's University Rattlers compete as members of the Heartland Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Saint Mary's is a private Catholic (Marianist) institution located northwest of downtown San Antonio, Texas. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
