The Centre College Colonels compete as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Centre is a private Presbyterian institution located in Danville, Kentucky, about a half-hour south of Lexington. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
