The Eastern University Eagles compete as members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. The school's teams will move to the Middle Atlantic Conference for the 2008-09 season. Eastern is a private Baptist institution located in Saint Davids, Pennsylvania, about 15 minutes west of Philadelphia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
