The Saint Ambrose University Fighting Bees (Queen Bees for women's sports) compete in NAIA Division I basketball as members of the Midwest Collegiate Conference (1988-2015), and in NAIA football as members of the Mid-States Football Association. Saint Ambrose is a private Catholic (Diocesan) institution located in the Quad Cities community of Davenport, Iowa. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
