The Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions compete as members of the Lone Star Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Texas A&M-Commerce, formerly "East Texas State", is a public institution located in Commerce, Texas, about an hour east of Dallas. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 8,000.
