The Notre Dame de Namur University Argonauts compete as members of the Pacific West Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Notre Dame de Namur is a private Catholic (Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur) institution located in Belmont, California, midway between San Jose and San Francisco. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
