The Salisbury University Sea Gulls compete in NCAA Division III basketball as members of the Capital Athletic Conference, and in football as members of the Atlantic Central Football Conference (1998-2010). Salisbury, formerly "Salisbury State", is a public institution located on the Delmarva Peninsula in Salisbury, Maryland, about two hours southeast of Baltimore. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
