The Lynchburg College Hornets compete as members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Lynchburg is a private Disciples of Christ institution located in Lynchburg, Virginia, about 75 minutes east of Roanoke. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
