The Roanoke College Maroons compete as members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Roanoke is a private Lutheran institution located in Salem, Virginia, about 15 minutes west of Roanoke. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
