The Tennessee State University Tigers compete as members of the Ohio Valley Conference in NCAA Division I FCS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Tennessee State, a historically black college, is a public land-grant institution located in the capital city of Nashville, Tennessee. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
