The Columbia Union College Pioneers compete as members of the NCAA Division II Independents in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Columbia Union is a private Seventh-Day Adventist institution located in the northern Washington DC suburb of Takoma Park, Maryland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
