The Northwood University Knights discontinued their athletic programs in 2014 when the university terminated the residential programs at its Texas branch. Northwood is a private non-sectarian institution located in Cedar Hill, Texas, a southwestern suburb of Dallas. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,500.
