The Southern New Hampshire University Penmen compete as members of the Northeast Ten Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Southern New Hampshire, formerly "New Hampshire College", is a private non-sectarian institution located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
